Burj Dubai Standing Tall!

Dubai, UAE Emaar's soon to be tallest building in the world (come 2008/09) - Burj Dubai, is now the tallest building in the Middle East and Europe!

Standing tall at 380 meters (110 storeys), Burj Dubai has the most number of floors of any building in the world - equaling the number of floors at Sear Tower in Chicago, US.

Burj Dubai currently stands as the ninth tallest building in the world. It is speculated that Burj Dubai will be 808 meters high when it is completed, making it the tallest building in the world.  However, the crown could soon be transferred  to neighboring Bahrain or Kuwait. Bahrain is building Murjan Tower, said to be 1,022 meters high, while Kuwait's Al Kabir Tower is said to be 1,001 meter high.
