Siri pertama liputan myUAE ini memberi fokus kepada pasukan baru, Desert Penguin yang akan bertarung dalam kategori Senior. Antara yang d beritakan akan menyarung jersi Desert Penguin ialah Karim Veritas, Zahed MBC, Mat Yusuf Tourism dan Chan Muhibbah. known as the Middle East International Motorshow opens its 9th edition today at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Center. Several world launch is said to be taken place at the motorshow.
Among the main attraction at this year's show is the Shelby Aero - said to be the fastest production car. The supercar achieved a blazing speed of 241 mph in its transmission test.
Touted as the largest auto motorshow in the Region, the exhibition opens till November 18th (from 11 am till 10 pm for all days except November 16th, from 3 pm till 10 pm). Tickets are available online and on site.

The annual Dubai Airshow is back, with lots of exciting action in store. Apart from the acrobatic feats of flying pilots, there will be lots of mega dirham announcement from the industry leaders.
Emirates, Dubai's airline announced a whooping $34.9 billion deal today - the largest in civil aviation history! According to Gulf News, the new orders comprise of 120 Airbus 350s, 11 380s and 12 Boeing 777-300 ERs (the deal with Airbus includes orders for 50 A350-900s and 20 A350-100s and the option for a further 50 A350-900s.
The first A350 is to be delivered to Emirates in 2014.

Singapore Malay Group (SMG) and malaysian-uae (myUAE) is to organize the 1st SMG & myUAE Winter 5-a side Soccer Tournament during the UAE National Day weekend. The tournament is to be held at Emirates Aviation College soccer field (Garhoud, Dubai).
The organizing committee highlighted that the tournament is to foster stronger bond between participating teams and the communities involved. Several teams from Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Sri Lanka and Thailand will be participating in the tournament.
Apart from the Open and Senior category (32 years and above), the SMG & myUAE Winter Soccer will see another category - the Under 15 years old category!

UAE's Vice President/Prime Minister/Ruler of Dubai - Shaikh Mohammed Bin Rashid al Maktoum was judged as the most influential business leader in the Gulf, ahead of Saudi's King Abdulla and UAE's President Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed An Nahyan.
The study which was published by UK's newspaper, The Times look at Gulf's top 25 business leaders.

Akhbar harian Emirates Today hari ini melapurkan akitek Belanda, Koen Olthuis yang pernah melakarkan gereja terapung d Belanda sudahpun menyiapkan lakaran awal masjid yang khabarnya akan siap berhampiran sajak karangan Sheikh Mohamad, juga terapung!
Masjid terapung ini bakal punya menara dan kolum plastik yang berukuran 12 meter - membenarkan cahaya memasuki ruang solat.
Bekalan elektrik dan air akan d bekalkan dari Pulau Palm, manakala masjid ini akan d apunhkan dengan bahan campuran concrete dan foam.
