PRESS RELEASE In what seems to be a first for the Malaysian community here in the UAE, myUAE announced its first Treasure Hunt event branded as JJD’08. JJD’08 will be flagged off at Malaysian Trade Commission’s Office (Al Safeenah building) come February 22, 2008.

JJD’08 stands for “Jalan-jalan Dubai’08” – a fun, thrill and mind boggling community event. The event has been given a “G” rating, meaning the event is open to all, children and adults – just like in myUAE’s previous community themed events.

The event will see participants driving around Dubai’s famous landmarks with the mission of solving questions pertaining to Dubai, the UAE and Malaysia. It was also revealed that several Malaysian companies in the UAE have chipped in to sponsor the event.

JJD’08 is giving the participating parties limitless opportunities - not only the chance to know Dubai in depth, but also to network between the community. It also allows the sponsors to promote their products and services to the growing Malaysian community here in the UAE.

Participants will be given momentos such as JJD’08 Tshirts and car stickers, while the winners of the first myUAE Treasure Hunt stand to grab prizes such as cash and vouchers from the sponsors.
