Promosi MAS!

Syarikat penerbangan Malaysia, MAS melalui pejabat serantau d Dubai hari ini melancarkan pakej promosi pelancungan Malaysia. Promosi Malaysia Stopover 2008 memberi peluang kepada orang ramai untuk menikmati pakej percutian ke empat destinasi utama - Kota Kinabalu, Kuala Lumpur, Langkawi dan Pulau Pinang (boleh download flyer d sini: Download mas_stopover_promotion.pdf)

Bermula dari USD83, pakej percutian ini menawarkan penginapan d beberapa hotel ternama d destinasi tersebut d atas. Promosi ini berlansung dari Mei 15 hingga Jun 15, 2008. Untuk matlumat lanjut dan urusan tempahan, boleh sila hubungi pejabat jualan MAS d talian 04.397.0250.

Sementara itu, Pengerusi myUAE-PRO, Ariffin Mamat (Pak Payne) hari ini mengumumkan MAS telah berbesar hati untuk menaja hadiah cabutan bertuah keahlian myUAE-PRO. Hadiah yang berupa tiket penerbangan pergi balik ini, terbuka kepada mereka yang mendaftar menjadi ahli myUAE-PRO. Bagi pihak myUAE-PRO, Pak Payne mengucapkan terima kasih d atas tajaan, sekali gus sokogan MAS dalam menjayakan program komuniti Malaysia d UAE.

myUAE-PRO: Updates

The committee has met once and will be meeting again soon. Here are some interim updates:

Memberships: To date, 117 Malaysians have registered as members. To register, please click here. To be a member, you must be in UAE or have been offered with a job in UAE and planning to come soon. AJK member, Puan Putri Khadijah is responsible for memberships

Website: We will continue to use http://www.malaysian-uae.com as the official myUAE-PRO website. A feature for an e-forum focusing on work related issues is under testing and will be made live soon

Information: Being compiled are information which are deemed useful for new and existing Malaysians in UAE. In the first phase, the following areas are covered; Visa and Immigration Matters, Schools, Salary scales, General directory (Hospitals, Places of worships, Supermarkets etc), Road and Transport rules and procedures, accomodation rental rates, and a compiled set of Frequently Asked Questions plus answers. Our target is to made these available for members (please note, for members only - so as to encourage
Malaysians to register as members ) by end June

Social/ Sports activities: Weekly Friday Soccer at the Etisalat academy, 5pm - 6pm. Affandy is the Friday Soccer coordinator. A poll conducted to gauge level of interest for a bowling tournament has indicated good responce. More details will be announced soon. AJK Sdr Ajim and Miss Zoe are leading this charge. Since the first Malaysians-meet-Malaysians session at the Mirdiff Uptown was deemed beneficial by new comers who were there - another one will be organised soon. This is also timely as there have been many new arrivals in the last few weeks.

Professional development activity: The AJK is planning to organize a 'Sembang2 Pro'
monthly forum where invited guests will speak about their areas of expertise or chosen topics. We have prominent names in mind, and God willing and subject to their acceptance, will be a very meaningful activity for all of us. More details will be anoounced later.

In the mean time, please continue to participate in the yahoogroup e-forum. Already the exchanges of messages have increased to above 1,000 per month since the activation of myUAE-PRO.

Agenda 3 Bulan Pertama myUAE-PRO d Gerakkan!

Dubai, UAE Lanjutan dari penubuhan myUAE-PRO dan perlantikan ahli jawatankuasa (AJK) bagi tahun 2008-09, mesyuarat AJK myUAE-PRO pertama menyaksikan beberapa potfolio d bentuk. Ariffin Mamat (atau lebih d kenali Pak Payne) kekal sebagai Pengerusi, manakala mesyuarat memutuskan Dr. Rani Shamsuddin sebagai Timbalan Pengerusi, Mohd Hasnol Yunus sebagai Setiausaha Agung dan Affandy Shaari sebagai Bendahari.

Kesemua 10 AJK hadir dalam mesyuarat yang berlansung d kediaman Pak Payne.

Selain dari tiga potfolio d atas, AJK juga telah meluluskan usul untuk melantik 2 lagi AJK bagi memantapkan organisasi.

Agenda tiga bulan pertama berdasarkan kepada objektif penubuhan myUAE-PRO juga telah d persetujui untuk tindakan.

Antaranya ialah mengemaskini pengkalan data (database) rakyat Malaysia d UAE (inisiatif dengan kerjasama rapat pejabat Konsul Besar Malaysia d Dubai), program menarik ahli baru dan penyediaan informasi berupa welcome pack buat yang baru tiba ke UAE.

Pak Payne dalam perbualan ringkas juga memberitahu informasi asas berkenaan penyesuaian hidup d UAE juga dalam agenda bertindak, d mana beberapa perkara telah d kenal pasti dan dalam tindakan AJK - myUAENN

myUAE-PRO Dapat Sambut Menggalakkan!

LAPURAN AWAL Dubai, UAE Lebih 65 orang rakyat Malaysia hari ini bersama d foyer bangunan MATRADE Dubai bagi upacara pelancaran myUAE-PRO. Acara pagi tadi turut d serikan dengan kehadiran dan sokongan padu Konsul Besar Malaysia d UAE - Tuan Syed Mohd Hasrin, Trade Commissioner - Encik Noraslan Hadi, Pengarah Rantau MPOC - Encik Zafri Zawawi, Timbalan Pengarah Tourism Malaysia - Encik Mat Yusuf Che Nam dan wakil Malaysian Timber Council - Encik Azmir Husni.

Dalam ucapan pembukaan, Ariffin Mamat (selaku Pengerusi Protem myUAE-PRO) menggariskan tiga objektif utama myUAE-PRO (boleh d muat turun d sini).

Antara lain objektif myUAE-PRO ialah membantu memperluaskan peluang kerjaya bagi rakyat Malaysia, program perkembangan kerjaya profesional d kalangan rakyat Malaysia d UAE dan memberi sokongan awal kepada yang baru tiba ke UAE. Objektif yang d persetujui sebulat suara oleh ahli-ahli yang hadir juga akan bertindak membantu gerak kerja pejabat Konsul Besar dan ajensi kerajaan yang sedia ada d UAE.

Sokongan Konsul Besar Malaysia

Konsul Besar Malaysia d UAE, Syed Mohd Hasrin pula dalam ucapan aluannya penuh yakin inisiatif yang d gerakkan oleh myUAE-PRO ini bukan sahaja akan memberi manfaat kepada rakyat Malaysia d UAE, malahan ianya akan memberi manfaat bagi rakyat Malaysia yang ingin mendapat matlumat berkenaan kerjaya dan perihal kehidupan d UAE.

Beliau menambah pihaknya akan memberi kerjasama dalam menjayakan objektif myUAE-PRO.

Hari Ini: Perjumpaan myUAE-PRO!

Dubai UAE Hari ini bertempat d laman foyer bangunan MATRADE Dubai (Al Safeeenah building), pertemuan pertama myUAE-PRO akan berlansung. Pertemuan yang akan d serikan dengan kedatangan Tuan Konsul Besar, Syed Mohd Hasrin dan Trade Commissioner, En. Noraslan Hadi akan turut d hadiri ahli-ahli yang sudah mendaftar secara online.

Perjumpaan akan berlansung jam 10 pagi, antara lain akan bersama membincangkan penubuhan myUAE-PRO dan agenda mendatang.

myUAE-PRO First Meeting

The formation of MyUAE-PRO has been previously announced. This initiative has received support from the office of H E Consul General and Tuan Trade Commisioner.

 

1. The First official meeting of MyUAE-PRO will be held

Saturday, April 19th, 2008.

2. The agenda of the meeting will be as follows

• Welcome and Introduction
• Messages from H E Consul General and Tuan Trade Commisioner.
• Objectives of MyUAE-PRO
• Membership terms and conditions & registration.
• Short term Action Plans - To agree proposals.
• Appointment of office bearers.

AJK Protem telah menerima sumbangan dari penaja dalam usaha untuk menggalakkan pendaftaran ahli myUAE-PRO. Hadiah istimewa itu dikatakan akan membawa ahli bertuah ke destinasi yang indah dan menawan dan akan diberikan melalui cabutan bertuah yang akan dibuat apabila keahlian mencecah 150 orang. Cabutan akan dibuat oleh Pengurus Besar di pejabat penaja di suatu tarikh yang akan diumumkan.

The scene was something the foodcourt in Mirdiff Uptown has never seen before. Six tables were pulled and arranged together - seated around them were 30 Malaysian men. Not far from there, three tables arranged in similar manner had ten ladies and a few babies too. The elder boys and girls were playing games they have created for themselves.

A couple of security guards came by, especially after Nik and Fendi brought out their camera fixed with long lenses. When Mat Ju joined the fray with his canon - a security guard came and stood where we were almost semi permanently.

myUAE-PRO New Arrivals Meet

Dubai, UAE myUAE-PRO is to held its first program, a get together with Malaysians in the UAE.

The program, part of its many more self-help activities is to gather and facilitate new and old Malaysians in the UAE. 

"In the last one month alone we have noted many new arrivals. myUAE-PRO wants to play an active role in organizing and facilitating a welcome an introductory get together especially for new arrivals to UAE", said Pak Payne - the Protem Committee Chairman.

The first myUAE-PRO get together will be held after Friday Prayers on April 11th, 2008 at the FOODCOURT area in UPTOWN MIRDIF (Dubai).

Pak Payne added, "This is an open invitation to ALL Malaysians - old and new in UAE - to be there so that we can meet and spend some quality time together". It is the hope of the protem committee that the get together will facilitate introductions between Malaysians who have settled in Dubai with Malaysians who have recently arrived. The meeting will be informal and it will be on self-help basis. The more the merrier and the more help we can offer to each other.
