Vertu, Nokia's luxury mobile phone unit might be the first luxury mobile phone that hit the market. Several others are closely following suit. First you have Prada (in collaboration with LG). Then you have Porsche design. Then comes Levi's.
The latest to join the fray is Armani!
Along with its technology partner, Samsung, Armani will soon launch its mobile phone line. The Armani phone is a triband GSM (no 3G!) phone, equipped with a 3 megapixel camera.
Dubai, UAE Region's largest IT exhibition and conference, GITEX is set to open its 2007 edition on Saturday, September 8. The show will be at Dubai World Trade Center, running till September 12. This year's edition will see the show divided into three segments, namely, GITEX Business Solutions, GULFCOMMS and Consumer Electronics.
Etisalat will be among the leading companies to showcase its services (and promotional items). Several Malaysian companies/organizations will also be taking part, among others MSC Malaysia (Hall 2, Stand G2-40).
While the exhibition and conference show will only start on Saturday, the Shopper edition opens its door to the public from yesterday (Thursday, September 6). Shopper is on, @ the Airport Expo Center.

Apple last night launched its latest iPod range. The three new models are Nano, Classic and Touch (almost similar to the awesome iPhone!). All are now equipped with video screens, with Touch model equipped with iPhone like UI (user interface).
At the same function, Apple announced the new price range of its iPhone models. It's now $299 for the 4GB model, while the 8GB model retails at $399 (ehem, will the soon to be launched 3G Europe version take the $599 price point?)

East and North Africa is set to launch special edition N73 phones come
this Ramadhan. The phones will be preloaded with Islamic applications
including du'aas, Islamic organizer with azan for the five daily
prayers, Qibla direction indicator and Hijri calendar.
This is the second special edition for the popular N73 model. After the launch of the original version, nokia launched the N73 music edition, targeting the youth segments. With more than 1 billion Muslims globally and more than 22 countries in the Middle East and North Africa region this could be a hit for Nokia.
Looks like Nokia is not only connecting people, but it is also trying to connect people with its Creator!

Sony Ericsson launched three new bluetooth watches, to go with your bluetooth enabled mobile phones. The MBW-150 model comes in three tasteful flavors, Classic, Music and Executive (left to right).
The watches support caller ID, SMS notification and changing music tracks on your mobiles (all via wireless!). The earlier model, MBW-100 is already available @ Jumbo stores. Check out the watches here Err...Nik Ericsson, ada diskaun kawan-kawan?
Yesterday at the annual WWDC event, Apple previewed its soon to be launch OS, Mac OS X (a.k.a. Leopard). Full of new and flashy good stuff (more than 300 new innovations!): from the new desktop to the amazing finder and the brilliant Quick Look! BTW, the iphone will be using the same OS, the Mac OS X!

Meet iPhone's closest rival, HTC Touch. HTC the leading maker of Pocket PC devices for brands such imate, O2 and Dopod today launched what it described as a new concept in intuitive touch screen navigation.
HTC Touch is said to be already in the UK, with shipment to other parts of the world in the pipeline (could we possibly see the launch during Gitex in October, or even sooner?).
